Location is very convenient, a hardware store in the middle of the suburbs. They most of what you need to finish a job you start or to replace some more common things. It seems like every time I want to go there they are closed. Once I just needed some Spackle and went in on a weekday afternoon. The doors were not locked but the employees inside told me they were closed and they wouldn't help me.
Your employees do NOT have your best business interest at heart, that's for sure!
We parked the car, got out and as we were walking to the door, there was a family entering the facility. Apparently an employee was also standing there, watching as we made our way to the door, never speaking a word to us declaring that they were closed. We of course were oblivious to the time. Anyway, we made our way to the door only to find it locked. The employee stood there staring, still saying nothing, but obviously we know they are closed. Would it have killed them to service one more customer? Especially since they let the people walking before us into the facility!
Terrible customer service. They advertise that they price match. But the "manager" decided she wasn't going to without a printed copy. Home Depot had item for $30.00 less, I indicated I would just have to buy it there, I think she was happy I chose to do so. Seriously? She was very cold and rude, could have been handled with more tact. We consumers have options, Ace lost my business permanently. Btw I think it's an ace thing. we visited Ace in Springboro same day and had to walk out of the store, no one had a clue about their products. Step it up Ace.
I go there often. Sales people and check out people are very friendly and don't mind walk you to the item you are looking for. Issue rain checks and honor rain checks cheerfully
Highly disappointed in this SMALL local business. With customer service like this, you are likely to go out of business!
I really like coming here because it reminds me of the family run general stores when we were younger. I'm not sure how, but they manage to pack in pretty much anything you need in relation to a hardware store. Fair prices, easy to get whatever you need. Helpful staff as well.
