We attend many events here. Remember that when you attend an event here, so does every other parent. Everyone tries to arrive at the same time AND tries to leave at the same time. Be prepared to wait in traffic when coming and going.
Yesterday I attended my first Saturday Night Lights event. It was a great place and I was very happy to see so many cross country runners from all over.

It's a high school football stadium. Nothing fancy, just what you'd expect
Steps in the stadium are a weird dimension which made it difficult to go up and down. Also scoreboard was very bright and distracting while trying to watch what was happening in the field. I did love the height of the stands which made it very nice seeing the entire field no matter where you were sitting.
